Grais vs YourMove AI (2026)

YourMove AI runs on a phone and is actively maintained: native iOS and Android apps were both updated on 26 March 2026. The loop is short. Screenshot the profile or the chat, or paste in the message you got, and get back an opener, a reply, a line to restart a thread that went quiet, an ask-out, or a way to turn someone down, in one of five tones. Grais has nothing that matches it. Its live surface is a desktop Chromium extension and its iOS build is TestFlight only, so someone at a bus stop with Hinge open cannot use it.

It also does two jobs Grais does not do in any form. The profile writer walks you through a target app, a writing style and a set of prompts, then returns a bio, with dedicated generators for Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Feeld, Raya, Instagram and Facebook Dating. Grais writes messages inside a conversation. It does not write your profile.

Profile review is the second. Upload the photos and bio you already have and you get photo-by-photo feedback with a recommended order, red flags and green flags, and a written improvement plan. A separate photo product generates profile pictures in packs of 6, 25 or 50. Grais does nothing with photos.

Coverage is wider and the entry point is lower. YourMove AI names eight dating apps — Bumble, Hinge, Tinder, Coffee Meets Bagel, Facebook Dating, Plenty of Fish, OkCupid and Match — and because it reads a screenshot it works with anything you can photograph. Grais supports Tinder, on desktop web only. The free tier is real: a daily allowance of messages with no card required, plus a dating-coach tool the site describes as free. The cheapest paid entry point listed on the App Store on 18 August 2026 was $12.99 a month. Grais starts with 20 free actions a week, then Core at $29.

• You work from a phone. YourMove AI ships iOS and Android. Grais needs a desktop Chromium browser.

Grais starts one step later. It is not built to get a stranger to reply; it is built to carry the conversation once it exists. You have WhatsApp Web, Telegram Web, Instagram, LinkedIn or Tinder open, looking at a message from one person, and Grais reads that thread on screen and drafts the reply in place. You do not manually upload screenshots or copy messages between apps.

The difference shows up on the fifth message rather than the first. Use YourMove AI on a thread that has been running two weeks and you end up re-supplying the history, because each generation works from the image in front of it. There is no conversation list to reopen. Grais keeps memory per contact across conversations, channels and time: who said what, and what was promised.

The other gap is that the conversation usually leaves the dating app. Someone moves to Instagram, then WhatsApp, and the thread that matters is no longer where YourMove AI works. YourMove AI is dating-only by design; its own paywall bullet says it works with all dating apps. Grais follows the same person across WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tinder, and treats work threads the same way, so a recruiter, a client and a match sit in one system.

Because Grais sits in the thread instead of handing you text, it needs permission rules a copy-and-paste tool does not. Trust is granted one contact at a time and moves from review, to voice approval, to known-safe autonomy, and nothing sends without the trust level you set for that contact. Grais also tracks what was promised to whom and flags when a person goes quiet, without being asked.

The limits are worth stating plainly. Grais runs as a desktop extension for Chromium browsers — Chrome, Brave, Edge and Arc — on macOS, Windows, Linux and ChromeOS. There is no Firefox build, no Safari build and no mobile browser support. iOS is TestFlight and waitlist rather than the App Store, and the Mac app is planned rather than shipped. Tinder is the only dating app it reaches.

These two barely touch. YourMove AI owns the part before anyone has replied: the photos, the bio, the opener, the first few volleys, produced on a phone from a screenshot. Grais owns what comes after, in a desktop browser.

So a workable split is to let YourMove AI fix the profile and write the first messages, then let Grais take over once the conversation moves to WhatsApp or Instagram, where the question stops being what to say next and becomes what you already said, what you promised, and who has gone quiet.
