What you need
Requirements before you install.
A supported desktop browser
Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, Arc on macOS, Windows, Linux, or ChromeOS. Grais is a desktop browser extension; mobile browsers cannot load it. Firefox and Safari are not supported today.
A Grais account
The extension signs in with your Grais account. Installing without an account gets you the overlay but no memory or voice profile.
The conversation open in a tab
Grais works inside the web app you are already using. It reads the thread on screen rather than connecting to your inbox in the background.

Four steps from signup to first draft.

Create your account
Sign up on grais.ai. The account holds your voice profile, memory, and trust settings, so the extension has something to work from on the first conversation.
- Step 2
Add Grais to your browser
Install from the Chrome Web Store. The same build runs on every supported Chromium browser on desktop.

Pin it to the toolbar
Open the puzzle-piece menu and pin Grais, so the overlay is one click away instead of buried behind the extensions menu.

Open a conversation
Go to a supported web app and open a thread. Grais reads the context you share and offers a draft in your voice.

Grais runs as an overlay on top of these web apps. Autonomy is set per contact across three trust tiers: review every draft, approve by voice before sending, or let Grais handle known conversations on its own. New contacts start at review, and you can change the tier at any time.
