At Grais, we design every feature with privacy and trust at the core. This page explains how we handle the information you share with us across our products, including the Chrome extension and upcoming desktop and web applications.

Whenever possible, Grais processes data locally on your device. Cloud processing is limited to the specific moments when you request capabilities that require it, such as generating AI responses or syncing settings across devices.

We do not use your personal content to build advertising profiles or to target you with ads.

To make Grais smarter and more helpful for everyone, we analyze anonymized and aggregated usage data. This data does not include personal identifiers or the full content of your conversations. Instead, it helps us understand general product trends, feature performance, and error rates so we can fix bugs and release better updates. Whenever possible we perform this analysis using privacy-enhancing techniques like aggregation and differential privacy-inspired noise.

You remain in control of your data:

• You can edit or delete memories and stored preferences at any time
• You may request data deletion or export by emailing hello@grais.app
• You can opt out of optional cloud features that require syncing your data

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including network encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. If we ever identify a risk to your data, we act quickly to mitigate it and keep you informed.
