Communication intelligence
Grais is a system that understands conversations — not just the words, but the context, history, relationships, and goals behind them. It gives humans better tools to communicate and gives AI agents the ability to communicate on behalf of people.
Available today as an invitation-only desktop browser extension for Chromium-based browsers. Native macOS app is next. Early-access Codex and Claude Code integrations are opening now.
How it works
Grais runs as a browser overlay. When you open a conversation, it reads the context you share, reconstructs the thread history, and gives you tools to respond — drafts, plans, follow-ups — all in your voice and under your control.
Human-in-the-loop: You review and approve every action. Grais never sends a message or changes anything without your explicit approval.
Local-first: Data stays on your device by default. Cloud sync is optional, encrypted, and deletable at any time.
The capability stack
Memory
Persistent context across conversations, channels, and time. Grais remembers who said what, what was promised, and what matters to each relationship.
Pick up a deal conversation weeks later with full context — no re-reading threads.
Reasoning
Understands intent, tone, and stakes. Analyzes threads to surface what needs attention and how to respond.
Flags when a prospect goes quiet and suggests re-engagement based on prior signals.
Planning
Breaks complex conversations into steps. Planner Mode maps multi-turn strategies for negotiations, follow-up sequences, and relationship-building.
Maps a 4-step negotiation sequence with decision points and fallback positions.
Execution
Drafts replies, schedules follow-ups, and manages communication workflows. Always with human review before anything is sent.
Drafts a follow-up email that references the last three touchpoints, ready for your review.
Tone calibration
Adapts to your voice, the relationship, and the situation. Knows the difference between a first cold outreach and a long-running partner thread.
Same person, different register — formal for a new VP, casual for a long-time collaborator.
Trust and control
You approve every action. Local-first architecture keeps data on your device by default. Cloud sync is optional and encrypted.
Review and edit every draft before it goes out. Delete memory at any time with immediate effect.
