What's new
- A compact settings menu and composer: Settings show your plan and usage first and switch theme directly. Model, effort, and verbosity choices sit beside the message input, and short prompts stay on one line while longer drafts and contact previews get a full-width row above the controls.
- The side panel opens on your first click: After Grais has been idle in the background, the first click on the toolbar icon is no longer missed.
- Messages you type while a conversation loads are kept: A second message stays in the composer instead of replacing the first, and if the conversation fails to load, your queued message comes back with Retry. Text you have typed but not sent is also saved when you switch conversations or close the panel.
- Drafts and history stay with the right conversation: LinkedIn reply drafts go to the conversation they were written for, even with a chat overlay and the main thread open together, and Grais does not send one if the open conversation no longer matches. The Instagram side panel waits until it knows which conversation is open before it shows history. After you sign out and back in as the same person, capture picks up again.
- The Goal card follows its switch: Turning Goal off in Settings now hides the Goal card. Turn Goal back on and your goal and steps return.
- Messages in other languages are captured correctly: Instagram and Telegram message times written in other languages or in 24-hour form are now understood, so those messages get the right date instead of being skipped or filed under an older one. Repeated identical Instagram messages, such as two "ok" replies in a row, are no longer dropped.
- Steadier replies and auto-react: If a reply is cut short, Grais keeps the text already written and closes the reply out. Stop no longer leaves the connection unusable, and when the panel has to re-sync with the conversation, the message you were sending no longer hangs until a timeout. Auto-react waits its turn when a conversation is busy and picks an interrupted response back up.
- Safer retries: A temporary error while connecting the extension to your account no longer makes the automatic retry fail.
- More reliable answers about earlier messages: An exact match no longer loses out to unrelated messages that only share common words, and long conversations are indexed in the background so a search still answers.
Why it matters
- The toolbar icon, the composer, and the Goal card do what you expect the first time, without a missed click or a replaced message.
- Drafts and captured history stay attached to the conversation they belong to, so you are less likely to send words into the wrong thread.
- When a reply, a connection, or a sign-in is interrupted, Grais settles cleanly and lets you carry on.
Try it out
- Open a supported conversation and start typing while it is still loading. Press Enter on two messages: the first waits to send, and the second stays in the composer.
- Leave Chrome idle for a few minutes, then click the Grais toolbar icon. The side panel should open on the first click.
- Open Settings to see your plan and usage first, then look beside the message input for model, effort, and verbosity.

Behind the scenes
- When Chrome's periodic timer wakes Grais in the background, your profile is refreshed once instead of twice, and Telegram tabs no longer scan the whole page every time it changes.
- Chat setup, conversation lookup, and auto-react now recheck that they still belong to the same account, conversation, tab, and panel as they go.
- Before drafting, Grais skips two storage reads it repeated on every reply and looks up your settings and the conversation record alongside the rest of the preparation. Handling of custom MCP server settings and background agent actions is also tighter.
