Pricing and Subscriptions

Get the latest details on free metered access, Grais activation, and the current Core and Pro subscription path.

What do Grais Core and Pro cost?

Grais Core is currently presented at $29 per month, and Grais Pro is listed at $79 per month. Both self-serve plans are billed in USD through Stripe.

Core and Pro include the same Grais agent, relationship memory, browser extension, supported platforms, reply drafting, conversation planning, tone calibration, and human review before anything is sent.

Pro uses stronger model routing for better reasoning, nuance, and strategy in higher-stakes conversations. Pro users also get pre-access to iPhone and Mac. Both Core and Pro use self-serve Stripe checkout, and active Core subscribers can upgrade the same subscription to Pro from account access or billing.

Can I start for free?

Yes. New signups can start with active free metered access and continue to onboarding before checkout. Free access currently includes 20 Grais actions per week before the weekly cap blocks new generation until reset. The pricing page does not advertise a time-limited free trial; Core and Pro are paid upgrades for higher plan limits and model routing.

  • Free access: click Start free, sign up, and continue to /account/onboarding.
  • Core access: open /pricing, choose Core, and checkout starts directly when you are signed in. If you are signed out, sign in or sign up and Grais continues the selected checkout from /account/access.
  • Pro access: open /pricing, choose Pro, and checkout starts directly when you are signed in. If you are signed out, sign in or sign up and Grais continues the selected checkout from /account/access.
  • Core to Pro upgrade: open /account/access or /account/billing while signed in with an active Core subscription.
  • Approved tester accounts can bypass checkout with user_type='test_user' as non-admin product access; super_user=true remains separate admin/internal authority.
  • If you expected access through a private invite or team arrangement, email [email protected] instead of creating duplicate accounts.

Are there any discounts for annual subscriptions?

The current public Pro offering is monthly billing only. Annual pricing and discounts are not available in the current self-serve rollout.

When does activation happen?

Free activation happens when a signup profile is available and the account is not blocked; usage is metered against the 20-actions-per-week free cap. Paid activation happens after checkout completes and the account entitlement is recognized. After activation, your account can access onboarding, extension install, and configuration flows.

If payment succeeds but the site still shows inactive access, sign out and back in once, then open /account/access. If the problem continues, contact [email protected] with the email address used for checkout.

Why can I not save personalization settings?

Account personalization APIs require the same active product access state as the configuration page. If your account is inactive, settings requests are blocked until you have active free metered access, complete Grais Core or Pro activation, or receive approved tester/internal product access.

This protects account setup from being saved against the wrong identity or an inactive subscription. Complete activation first, then return to personalization.

How do I manage payment methods, cancellations, or invoices?

If your account already has a paid Grais billing relationship, open /account/billing while signed in.

  • Use Manage subscription to open the Stripe-hosted billing portal.
  • Recent hosted invoice links can appear directly on the billing page when Stripe returns them.
  • If you schedule cancellation in Stripe, the billing page shows the scheduled cancellation state and the date access continues through.
  • If you do not have an active billable relationship yet, use /account/access while signed in to start one safely.
  • If Grais sees a recoverable subscription but cannot resolve the Stripe billing customer, the billing page shows a support fallback instead of sending you into another checkout attempt.

What should I include when asking for billing help?

Send the email address used for checkout, the approximate payment time, and whether you are trying to activate access, update payment details, cancel, or find an invoice. Do not send full card numbers or sensitive payment details by email.
