Edge Case B: The checkpoint feels patronizing

This usually happens because the prompt sounds like a quiz.

Shift responsibility back to the explainer:

"I want to check my explanation, not your intelligence."

Then keep the request concrete. People are far more receptive when the checkpoint is framed as communication quality control.

Edge Case C: Multiple people are involved

In group settings, one person's restatement is not enough. Different people may own different parts of the same plan.

Use a split restatement:

  1. one person restates the decision,
  2. one person restates the constraint,

Stakeholder restatement:

Constraint check:

"What is the hard constraint?"

Answer:

"No launch if consent-language risk remains unresolved."

Next action check:
